Syringe filters

Moulded in a polypropylene shelter, filtraTECH syringe filters are conceived with the best membrane filters to meet the requirements in all types of industries : chemicals, pharmaceuticals, environmental, food, automotive...

The range is available with various dimensions (13, 25 and 33 mm), pore size (at least 0.22 and 0.45 µm), sterile or not.

  • The CA syringe filters are produced with modified cellulose acetate membranes, and have a high filtration efficiency. Naturally hydrophilic, they present a weak fixation of proteins. Chemical stability: pH 3-7 Recommended for: biology, aqueous samples and filtration of proteins or enzymes. 

  • Made with cellulose acetate and cellulose nitrate fibres membranes, MCE syringe filters are naturally hydrophilic, mechanically stable and have a high loading capacity. Chemical stability: pH 4-8 Recommended for: biological fluids clarification, enzyms or aqueous solutions filtration

  • Naturally hydrophilic, polyamide or nylon membranes are used for aqueous samples, alkaline or organic filtration of HPLC samples for their chemical resistance to alkaline solutions and solvents.

  • The highly asymmetrical pore structure of PES membranes offers an excellent loading capacity and high flow rate for our syringe filters which are naturally hydrophilic. Chemical stability: pH 4-8 Recommended for: biology, preparation of protein samples, ultra-fast filtration of tissue culture media

  • RC syringe filters are hydrophilic and show a high chemical resistance to all solvents and a high flow rate. Chemical stability: pH 3-12 Recommended for: solvent filtration, organic samples, aqueous solutions

  • Naturally hydrophobic, PTFE syringe filters are chemically resistant. Chemical stability: pH 1-14 Recommended for: HPLC, air and gas filtration, chemically aggressive / acid for samples. 

  • For viscous solutions or filtration of cells media before sterilisation, it is better to operate a pre-filtration using a glass microfibre syringe filter. Chemical stability: pH 3-7 Recommended for: biology, aqueous samples and filtration of proteins or enzyms. 

  • Naturally hydrophobic, PP syringe filters are chemically VERY resistant. Chemical stability: pH 1-14 Recommended for: HPLC with weak solids, small samples. 

  • Naturally hydrophobic, PVDF syringe filters are chemically very resistant to most solvents. Chemical stability: pH 1-14 Recommended for: air or gas filtration
